La Piazza Cucina Italiana and Wine Bar has expanded with the addition of The Garden Room Patio, with lush greenery that brings the outside in.  It's perfect for al fresco dining or private gatherings. The beautiful and casual decor with banquettes and many comfortable booths, some with dramatic back-lit onyx panels, a wall of tall windows, candlelight throughout, a contemporary bar with changing colored lights, and a striking geometric display of light fixtures in the center of the dining room makes this an appealing place to enjoy genuine Italian fare.  La Piazza’s management and kitchen teams are professionals with a great deal of knowledge, training and expertise.

The menu is full of Italian comfort food everyone loves like Eggplant Involitini topped with hearty rich marinara sauce, which is awesome.  Pizzettes with a variety of toppings are made in their brick oven.  Our choice was the ultra-thin whole wheat pie with the perfect ratio of fresh mozzarella and tomato sauce.  Entrees continued to delight us: Branzino Mediterraneo, a light and delicate preparation with olive oil and lemon was accompanied with sauteed spinach; and Chicken Rollatini Toscana, tender chicken breasts stuffed with spinach and mozzarella topped with a savory marsala sauce and smothered with mushrooms, was a giant portion enough for two.  One of the most spectacular ways of serving pasta is al cartoccio: linguine combined with shrimp, sweet sausage and a sambuca-infused pink sauce is baked and presented steaming hot in a foil wrap.  House made desserts continued to please.  Service is knowledgeable, prompt and courteous as they cater to couples, families and business people.  There's something for every age group.

La Piazza Pronto, located on premise, is the take out store where you can buy their fine paninis, brick oven pizzettes, specialty pizzas to go, or anything on their menu.  Enjoy a designer cocktail, a nice bottle of Chianti with authentic Italian cuisine in a relaxed setting where “Italy is brought to America.”
