Nancy Lee's Pig Heaven is a standout on the Upper East Side. This contemporary Chinese eatery is one of the more welcoming establishments to dine at. Owner Nancy Lee is present every night, and greets all guests - whether they are new or old - as friends. Her desire to help with dining selections, or to create something off-menu if diet (or palete) is of consideration or concern, translates to an extremely comfortable dining experience. Nancy is the life of the party each night at Pig Heaven, and goes to great lengths to ensure that each customer leaves happy.

Executive Chef John Chiang, formerly trained in Taiwan, is proud to offer many selections with his strong recommendations. Soft Shell Crab - with your choice of sauce (ginger & scallion, black bean, garlic sauce, Szechuan chili, salt pepper) - and Bamboo Veal - tender veal with Chinese mushrooms, snow peas & bamboo shoots in Chef's Special Sauce are two intriguing dishes that have won raves from regulars and newcomers alike.

Live music on the weekends provides a special twist to a Chinese restaurant, with jazz, blues, and standards among the styles heard. A modest but impressive wine list with selections from the U.S., Chile, Italy, France, and Australia truly make this a worldly dining experience. Specialty drinks, such as the "Pink Pig" and others, add to the enjoyment of it all.

An outdoor deck, where guests can enjoy the fare in the milder spring and summer months, compliments the two indoor dining areas (one is adjacent to the bar). Wherever you choose to enjoy your meal, you will be sure that Nancy Lee will greet you, and all will be well.
