Il Violino Restaurant is the perfect fine dining destination for those looking for traditional Italian fare while spending an evening at Lincoln Center. Since 1993, the restaurant formerly known as Fellini’s has been packing in people from all over New York City and its surrounding suburbs.

Exposed brick archways give way to a glass-enclosed sidewalk atrium - perfect for feeling like you are dining al fresco year-round. There are flowers on every table, and autographed photos of all the famous world-class actors, opera singers, and musicians that have both performed at Lincoln center and have eaten at Il Violino adorn the walls.

Consistency is the main ingredient for success at Il Violino, as most of the staff, as well as the chef, have been working at the restaurant for over 10 years. In addition to a wonderful and large ala carte menu, a price fixed menu is offered each night, making this a popular pre-theater haven. Two of the more tantalizing house specials you will find on the menu include the Osso Bucco, which is served with fresh risotto, and Saltimbocca alla Romana - scallopine of veal sauteed in wine and prosciuto, over a bed of spinach. Pasta lovers have fallen in love with the Spaghetti Puttanesca, which is prepared with olives, capers, anchovies, garlic, and fresh tomato.

Awarded rave reviews over the years by the New York Post, Daily News, and other well-respected periodicals, Il Violino is truly the perfect spot for dining pre-Opera, or for a romantic weeknight dinner with a loved one.
