It's Friday night and the hum of weekend anticipation and lively conversation fills the softly lit main dining room. The warm red walls envelop diners as they sit in their own small worlds, enjoying their cuisine and company. Candles glimmer on every table as smooth music plays in the background. This is the dining experience at NOMA, an urban acronym standing for ‘North of Main Street’, a premier Huntington restaurant serving New American cuisine.
Co-owned by attorney Frank "Rocky" Bruno and Joseph Tomasino, formerly of Piccolo restaurant, NOMA introduces something new and exciting to the Huntington Village dining scene. The inspired menu features creative takes on traditional dishes like seared diver sea scallops over truffle risotto and house-made short rib agnolotti. Choose from raw bar options and a selection of steaks, chops, seafood, and fresh housemade pastas.
The bar at NOMA is an experience all its own. With dark wood, stately mirrors and graceful lighting, it seems to come from another era. It's the perfect place to meet and catch up before dinner. Come for the week night happy hour and order from the special bar menu. Thursday night is ladies' night with drink specials and a DJ. For those who want to catch a game or event, a huge high definition flat panel television perches in the corner. The dining area's unique curved banquette seating is reminiscent of an Old Hollywood hotspot perfect for small parties. Old-world elegance and a dazzling menu, along with a friendly and exceptional staff led by General Manager Brianne Demmler, combine for an unforgettable night of food, drink and pleasure. TUESDAY - FRIDAY HAPPY HOUR 4-7; TUESDAY 1/2 PRICE BOTTLES OF WINE; THURSDAY LADIES NIGHT; PRIVATE PARTIES; CATERING; VALET PARKING; TAKE OUT
