Casual waterfront dining right on the docks of the Patchogue River and spectacular summertime dinner cruises aboard the Jubilee catering boat ensure a memorable evening at The Oar Seafood Grille.
With the father-daughter team of Lindsey and Richard Blakeslee at the helm, The Oar serves up fresh and delicious seafood and steaks. Chefs prepare specialties like jumbo coconut shrimp that's handmade fresh daily. A 36 oz. prime porterhouse comes out of the kitchen on a sizzling platter and their lobster roll is the best around. The friendly staff, led by manager Kristy, provides service that's sharp and attentive.
Two dining rooms are decorated in the traditional seaside style. The front wall is made up of French doors that open onto the water, providing dockside open air seating in warm months and picturesque views of the marina year-round. The rear dining room is elegant with raised panel mahogany, dark wooden tables and blue and white nautical striped wallpaper. They look forward to accommodating your special occasion in the "Loft," where plush carpeting and picture windows create a calm, romantic atmosphere.
The restaurant stocks full indoor and outdoor bars so you'll never miss a beautiful night at this fun and entertaining spot. Stop by the brand new raw bar where there's always someone shucking the freshest local clams and oysters. For another kind of performance, check out live music every Wednesday through Sunday.
Conveniently located at Latitude 40 45.3666' N Longitude 073 01.060 W, let your compass point the way to The Oar and a meal to remember.
