The creators of this American Nostalgic breakfast, lunch and dinner restaurant could not have chosen a more perfect name. Sweet Mama’s is a breath of fresh air! The soft yellow, blue and white color scheme is the perfect vintage backdrop for the 1950’s kitchen accessories and memorabilia that decorate the cheery space’s three rooms. The chairs, counter, stools and colorful advertising posters bring back memories of the kitchens in our favorite TV shows of yore. You just have to smile when you walk into Sweet Mama’s.
Dinner begins at 4 pm, but breakfast and lunch menus are offered all day long. Satisfy your appetite with big fluffy omelettes, hot oatmeal, crusty french toast and the best eggs prepared any way. Who can forget the perennial favorite, pancakes for supper?! For lunch, try a big 12 oz. burger, Cobb salad, or the BLTA, a twist on the popular BLT with the addition of ripe avocado slices. Exceptional homestyle dinner items include shepherd’s pie, mac and cheese and filet of sole stuffed with crabmeat in a white wine lemon parsley sauce. The restaurant expanded its lunch and dinner menus to include fresh wraps, paninis and specials like fork-tender pot roast. For sweets, Mama’s has introduced signature desserts like classic sundaes, shakes, ice cream sodas and a variety of pies and cakes like your own mama used to make. There’s also a menu
of beer, wine and mixed cocktails.
An outdoor patio is open for your dining pleasure. The friendly staff makes you feel at home in the century-old farm style building that was once a private residence in quaint Northport village. Now it is the home of Sweet Mama’s and all that’s good from her kitchen. Made with love.
