Hip decor, impeccable fare and a vibrant atmosphere have established Ludlow Bistro as one of the top spots for New American cuisine. The sleek dining room, done in shades of citrus and persimmon dotted with stark black accents and shots of cobalt blue, is owner Brian Connelly’s territory. He worked the front of the house for some of Long Island’s finest restaurants, bringing that expertise to his own place. Brian oversees the friendly and knowledgeable waitstaff while paying attention to every detail of the patron’s experience.
Executive Chef Daniel Dignon delivers the finely crafted dishes that complete this experience. Daniel believes in simplicity, letting flavors come together and stand out for themselves in eclectic masterpieces like tender Long Island duck breast with red swiss chard, smoked bacon, goat cheese duck confit quiche and blueberry demi glace. The menu offers starters like fried goat cheese salad with pecans and mesculin greens in raspberry vinaigrette. Seafood lovers opt for Chilean sea bass with saffron creamed napa cabbage, andouille sausage, sun-dried tomato, and diver scallop. Finish with a strudel-like apple crostade, their signature dessert.
To satisfy cultural curiosity, Ludlow Bistro offers wine tasting dinners, live jazz music and gallery nights to showcase local artists like Amanda K.
