Elegant with brand new Tuscan decor, this well established restaurant expanded and created a glamorous dining room which opens into two rooms. A fireplace, gracefully curved iron chandeliers with crystals, antique framed mirrors, rich dark woodwork and carpeting make up the rooms. There's a beautiful mahogany bar where you can relax and sip a cocktail and candles create a romantic glow.
The professional tuxedoed servers who have been there for years, are well versed in the dishes and wine list and will gladly help you make a selection. The house signature dish is Veal Chop Classico, pounded thin and served in a savory butter wine sauce. A special of breast of chicken with vodka sauce is creatively presented with smoked salmon on top, and homemade cannaloni has a flavorful stuffing of veal, chicken, beef and spinach with a champagne cream sauce. An intermezzo of sorbet will cleanse the palate during your meal. Light creamy tiramisu and smooth ricotta cheesecake are two of the luscious homemade desserts.
Thursday nights are reserved for a four piece band which plays the music of Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett and their contemporaries.
Owner Eddie Maiorino is proud of his restaurant that received a "very good" rating from The New York Times and high marks from the Zagat Survey. His customers rate it "fabulous and friendly" and always return to this "consistently delicious" restaurant.
