After years of pleasing diners with huge portions
of delicious home style food, Piccola Bussola opened
its second location. At the entrance is a large inviting bar which leads into the main dining room with its rich brown earth tones, a working fireplace, greenery and plush carpeting. To the right is a more intimate dining room with stuccoed walls, exposed brick and arched
windows. In addition there is a large party room for
all your celebrations. All the rooms have a relaxed and comfortable ambiance. The Lubrano family, who have been in the restaurant business on Long Island for more than 25 years, greet customers with the same warmth
and gracious hospitality as in their other restaurants,
La Bussola, Glen Cove 516-671-2100, and Piccola Bussola, Huntington 631-692-6300.

Dishes at this “family style” restaurant (portions
are for two or more) are made of fine, high quality
ingredients. The menu is made up of a wide variety of pastas, meat, chicken and seafood dishes with bold, fresh flavors that compliment each other. Smell the mouth-watering aroma of garlic emanating from the kitchen as you read the menu. Heaping platters of pasta with hearty sauces and platters of thin veal parmigiana, tender and perfectly cooked, are popular choices here. Wines are reasonably priced with many selections available by the glass. Homemade desserts include an outstanding pear tart and superb tiramisu. Service is friendly and efficient.
