I went to this great place a few years back that was somewhere in the vicinity of Port Washington, and I have no idea what it is called or even if it is still there. It was in an old, old house that was rumored to have been home to the world's oldest profession, and it had 3 levels: a bar in the basement; fireplaces, velvet couches, and antique furniture on the main floor (where you could also order from a menu that included chocolate fondue and some coffee-based drinks); and the bathrooms were upstairs. You had to climb up some fairly steep steps to an old porch to get inside. I'm pretty sure it was 21 and over. I am praying that this will ring a bell for one of you who can give me more info on this place! Please help!!

Had the lobster tail and Porterhouse and I must say- it was the finest I have ever had! Portions are huge, cooked to perfection and delicious,Chef Cavorti is something special. I highly recommend to anyone who eats food!

21 Main is one of the best steak houses on Long Island. Too bad it's in Sayville and not more centrally located. But for a good steak, we're willing to travel!

We went to Sanibel Chophouse in Lynbrook last year for Thanksgiving with a party of six, this year we are going to be ten. They had a Traditional Holiday menu and a smaller version of their own, I had the turkey and my husband and four boys were very happy with the porterhouse
