?TOM?S TOP 10? (2005)
Submitted by: carol lerow on Nov 17th 2004
grew up with tommy and yes, he was always this funny. he always had me cracking up when he did Frank-his dad- may he rest in peace. Tom, keep up the great food and the fabulous humor- we need more of both in this crazy, mixed up world!

Long Island's answer to Mr. Trotter, Chef Schaudel, once again shows his passion for the plate is not the soul recipe in his creative yet-eccentric cookbook. The medleys, mixes, and chutneys that flirt with our taste buds are only the fresh cream, not the flan. Chef Schaudel's "Top Ten", let's all of us in this truly unique industry know, "It's not just me!" All of OUR trials and tribulations parallel the same demented and at the best of times glorifying path. The true beauty of Chef Tom's Top Ten is that everyone of us aspiring stars that aims for the Schaudel legacy & passion can rest at night just knowing, "It happens to the best of us."

P.S. Morris, great job again, Chef Schaudel, as my bus-boys would say, "YOU DA MAN"
