Kara, For a bridal shower I reccommend Soigne' on Broadway in Woodmere or SNAPS on Wantagh Ave in Wantagh. The service, and food will not disappoint. Congrats!

I think Nicolas James in Merrick is a great place--great food--nice people--been to a few showers there--all went well
