Is Gabrielle's a good place for a rehearsal dinner...?

I'm looking for something kind of hip without being too expensive, preferably with an adventurous bar. Gabrielle's in the rockville centre looks promising but no one I know has eaten there. Help?

Ha, I'm not sure what you mean by "adventurous bar"...I never actually ate at G's so I'd be no help there. I know they serve some limited availability stuff like Bulldog gin (good summer mixer) and their wine list is pretty good (California Pinots, etc). I was there for a business function about a year back; my co-supervisor and I drank ourselves under the table (which was very accommodating). Sorry I can't be more help...
