La Coquille Submitted by: George and Maria on Feb 26th 2005 My family and I moved to Scottsdale, AZ and the one thing we miss more than most on LI is La Coquille. After dozens of visits, John and Staff have never once let us down. The food is spectacular, ambiance is original, wine list is unique and not a 22 year old waiter/college student in sight. Truly professional from top to bottom. Have been to Daniel, Cafe Boulud, One if by Land and if given a choice of one place, La Coquille would be the place youd find me. Consistency like this is a rarity. Even the Pommard tastes better there!
