No, but I remember the Hamburger Express in Glen Oaks on Union Tpke. Customers sat at the counter and the burgers came to you on a train that traveled around the counter. It was a real treat to eat there...so much fun!

I grew up in that Island Park restaurant. I'm the grandson of "Billy" Pappas, Tony and Peter are my Uncles. They were a lot of fun. I miss them all dearly!
I still have that recipe and make those grilled burgers toped with slaw and a side of tomato-less chili! thanks for remembering!

Remeber that restaurant fondly. The best sauce on a burger I've ever had. It was a treat to get the "hamburger steak" plate just for the sauce.!

This is truly one of the best dining experiences I have had in a long time. Almost gave up on Long Island food!! The food is always just so very well prepared and so very delicious. The staff is always pleasant and well informed about their dishes. It blows LOUIS VXI away in every aspect of the matter.This is coming from a former restaurant owner in St. Maarten and anyone who knows that island knows good food. Keep up the good work hats off to the chef who never disappoints.

Besito is a fantastic way to spend a late friday or saturday night. eating at besito at 9pm, you feel as if you are in europe. the food is excellent, as is the service. very upscale yet authentic mexican food served in a very authentic atmosphere. i would recommend whole-heartedly.
