anytown really not to far from oakdale to like seaford. It cant have alot of stairs because the grooms mother cant get upstairs that easyly.

May I suggest Prime located on Huntington Bay where you can enjoy the outside dining area, the bar or they even have a lodge/lounge area and outdoor fantail area with fire pit for drinks. The food and service are a 10+.

I think you should try Gemelli's in Babylon Village. They have a very good selection of entree's to chose from, and the price is very reasonable. The best part about the restaurant is the FOOD and Service. I had my husbands 50th there not too long ago and no one left unsatisfied.

Mom and Dad live in Lynbrook and enjoy going to Jonathan's in Garden City Park but it is becoming the same old thing. Can you recommend another restaurant which might be on par to take Mom for Mother's Day. It could also be a Rustic Italian Restaurant, possibly seafood with meat / chicken on the menu. Mom is 65 so she is a little selective about the food she eats.

We went to Prime in Huntington (right on the Bay) for Easter Brunch and it was second to none. They had lovely live jazz music also which complimented the breathtaking view.

We just had the most incredible dinner at Mac's Steak House in Huntington. It totally fulfilled my craving for a "real steak house" steak ( I had the bone-in Rib Eye)." Their wine list is extensive. The service was professional and caring. The ambiance is warm and comfortable. The Mac Salad and their Crabcakes are fabulous. My wife had the Halibut with Lobster and Horseradish and said it was the best Halibut she's ever had. We ended with the Mac Sundae and Capuccino Parfait. Heaven right here in Huntington! We highly recommend Mac's Steak House. They are now open for lunch.

I just wanted to let you know that over the weekend my daughter had her son's first birthday at The Sayville Inn. It was great. We had the entire place. Pam even provided the centerpieces of fresh flowers and a balloon arrangement on the table for the kids. That back room was perfect for the kids to eat and color at the table--it kept them busy. The food was very good and everyone had a good time. I mentioned to her that we started going there several years ago because of your magazine.

I went to Tula's this past weekend with 2 other girlfriends of mine. I picked the restuarant because of the cool decor and interesting healthy menu. I knew it was going to be delicious when they served the warm pita bread slices and olive oil dip. I ordered the Tilapia with Coconut and escarole with roasted potatoes it was superb! I loved it! I would definitly go back. The crumb cake was the best I ever had. It was so light and airy and very flavorful.

DELICIOUS, been going here for MANY YRS, even when it used to be in a smaller location across the street. BEST thing to order is the chicken for two-that is what they are known for-the chicken is mouthwatering-best chicken I have ever had-crunchy salty skin-juicy meat, the rice is delicious and I like the chips & steamed broccli, also the green soup is DELICIOUS if you have room for it and I recommend the red sangria w/fresh fruit-BEST SANGRIA I HAVE EVER HAD, they bring a delicious salad to the table-all ready to eat-some olives, some warm delicious bread(the corn bread is the best-its the one w/the crunchy hard outside and moist inside and it does nto taste like the cornbread you are thinking of)-THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST MEALS AND BEST DEALS ON LONG ISLAND for a nice dining experience for a reasonable price (if you order the chicken) you can also order the chicken for two "to go", its a little cheaper but does not come with the salad, bread or olives, it comes with two sides (usually rice & fries or chips)-you can always buy a salad to go but its not as good as when you get it when you "dine in", and you can ask for some bread and they will usually just give it to you with your "to go" order....HIGHLY RECOMMENDED....but sometimes the wait can be long-no reservations-but if you are a "couple" you will get seated faster than if you have 3 or more people-also-go on a weekday to beat the large crowds.

This is the best place - be prepared to wait - forever!! The food is great, reasonable, generous portions but if you get there after 5:30pm be prepared to wait. It's worth it!!

I read in newsday last week that Cafe Formaggio caters to people who have celiac disease. What a great experience, the staff was so accommadating. I highly recommend this place to everyone. The food was oustanding and its my new favorite place!

Dined in you place on Friday March 28, 2008. The setting was very casual/comfortable yet still sophisticated. All the dishes were served with great presentation and extremely delicious - full of exiting flavor. I thought the romaine salad presentation was outstanding and the pepper crusted tuna was off the chart !! We enjoyed our dinner and cocktails at the bar afterwards. We traveled about thirty minutes to get there but it was definately worth it. We will be back real soon and will bring our friends to share the experience. Stuart and Melissa were warm and cordial. On3 Restaurant located in Glen Head is now open 7 days for dinner. Sundays 4-9, M-Th 5-10, F&S 5-11. 25 food Zagat. 3 stars Newsday
