Great Place,great food and great staff. I highly recommend this restaurant. My husband and I eat here at least 3 times a month and we always enjoy the atmosphere whether it's for brunch or dinner.

The Garden City Hotel offers a tea brunch that is absolutely fantastic! I had my sister's baby showers there and everything was wonderful... the room, the food, the service, etc. and the price was very reasonable! they will do large parties as well as just a few gals out for tea :)

Without question, Amici's in Massepequa! Great food, great service and has never disappointed! We have many family gatherings there. On top of the exceptional food, no guest will be go home hungry (Tell them to where elastic waistbands) and the price is super reasonable!

there are a few really good restaurants in Pt Jefferson...Elk Street Grille, Pasta Pasta and Ruvo. One of those should be your choice.

Last July I threw a surprise 50th birthday party for my best girlfriend, who lives in Port Jeff. Not many choices there, so I looked in Smithtown and chose Casa Rustica. It was wonderful! Great service, great food and a lot of bang for the buck. I highly recommend Casa Rustica.

You should try the Cafe Toscano in Jericho, food is better and people are nicer anyway. They say its the same owners, but I find it quite different. I actually come from Bellmore to Jericho for that reason.

You can find a place that cheap & the food is very good. Mauricio's Orlando's II in St, James. I think the price is either $19.99 or maybe it's $21.99 & it includes beer & wine. Or you can do it at a Chinese restaurant.

I've been frequenting Albert's restaurants since 1981 at the original location on near the Walt Whitman Mall, then called Mei Ting. Beyond the food, which is excellent, it is Albert that really makes his establishment stand out. He treats each of his customers like family, and you feel like part of his family almost instantly.
Make it a point to visit the next time you crave asian cuisine.

Last night I dined at La Scala in Commack and it was everything I hoped it would be. Great food, very good service, good prices and a nice atmosphere BUT they had the front doors propped open and there were flies in the dining area landing on my delicious stuffed eggplant, on the tasty brushetta, on the table, my drink and even my napkin. It really ruined my dinner and my evening. I won't be going back there.

LIers always opt for outdoor dining. unfortunately when the doors are open anything can fly in. if you liked the food, service and prices go back and sit indoors.

we urge you to contact the owners with this poor treatment you received at the restaurant. they would want to know so they can improve things. we have been there several times and nothing like tht ever happened to "us" or anyone sitting near us.

RockFish in Huntington has a lobster dinner that's a great value. then you and the girls can walk around town...maybe have a drink at Blue Honu or Besito or FH Rileys or any of the fabulous nite spots in huntington.

lynn...just to make you and everyone else out there aware, lobsters are now at an all time high of $15.95/lb for the restaurants...expect to pay a high price for a lobster dinner in the next few months...i believe that after mother's day the price will drop but it doesn't look like it'll be before then...good luck!!!

Cafe Toscano where Capriccio's stood for 30 years in jericho/brookville area, I went to a rehearsal dinner there and it was perfect.It was three courses and dessert ,but i don't know what they paid.Good Luck!
