I have to tell ya...this was a great find. Sometimes the best things just come along on their own. With me being a chef I don't always like to go to upscale and most of the time uptight eateries. I was raised on regular foods...unlike a lot of chef' who boast about being raised on a farm yada yada ya. Sweet Mama's was exactly what the doctor ordered. Good food, great prices and a warmth..almost homeyness that you can't always find now a days. If you get the chance...make it a point to go...you will be glad you did!

We recently had a luncheon for 40 + people at the restaurant. The luncheon followed a funeral and we as a group arrived early. The staff handled it expertly. They served drinks, salads and bread and just put things into high gear. None of the diners were any the wiser. The service was great and the host family could not have been more pleased. The most impressive feature of the day was the food. Everyone liked their dish both the portion size, flavor and presentation. Two of the diners have been in the "buisness" for years and said they are going to recommend this restaurant as a great place to dine.

Great place. I went for the first time and was impressed. Great menu with a lot to choose from. Appetizers to dessert, everything was delicious. Great Martini menu to go along with the beautiful bar. And, best of all, they gave us 10%off for their anniversary.

if its a weekend try Cafe Toscano in Jericho. They closed for me on a Sat. afternoon. We had a great time and great food.

Dined at this restaurant while visiting from Vermont and it was fantastic. The food and service was excellent, especially the mexican corn. Worth the trip! Owner is very personable and friendly. I recommend it highly!

Excellent in every way. Food & service are top notch. Definately spreading the word around about this fine gem to others & will return ourselves. This is an adult restauran & would not recommend bringing babies or young children. Reservation recommended.

once a months "the girls" go out for dinner and often it is Cafe La Strada. we never have a problem with the service and always find the food to be delicious.

we had a terrific time at Jedediah's on Sunday. The service, atmosphere and food were all outstanding and it beat our expectations. All the details were covered. Many times you go to a place and certain things are overlooked. We found it to be perfect from the way we were greated to the very end of our meal. We definately plan to go back very soon. I think we might even arrange to stay for a weekend in the fall.

Go to Tula Kitchen in Bay Shore on Main Street. No TV's to distract your date. Candels burning, live music sometimes on Thursdays and Fridays. Unique tasty food. Mostly vegitarian but their are some spectacular chicken and fish dishes. If you want to impress a girl with Manhattan like atmosphere here on good old long island Tula is the place. After dinner if the date goes well you can have a great beer across the street at TJ Finleys
