For the last six years, Dougie’s Brooklyn has been providing its loyal customers a safe haven of sorts, a place to unwind, relax and dig in. Dougie’s is the ultimate family restaurant and an ideal place to take the the kids. Owners Moishie and Brocha Landau are always reinventing and improving the restaurant. With recent renovations to the restaurant as well as offering a sushi menu, Dougie’s Brooklyn just gets better.

A misconception many people might have is that Dougie’s food is too spicy. That is far from the truth. In fact, they will modify your meal to your specifications. If you like it mild, a little spicy or very spicy, rest assured that by the end of the meal, you’ll be satisfied. And customer satisfaction is the number one priority to the Landaus. The portions are tremendous and the prices are reasonable. Take for instance, their Monday Night, all-you-can-eat buffet (see picture below). It is not only presented beautifully but it is massive in size and delicious in taste.

While families do occupy many tables, you will often find married couples, dates, business associates and there always seems to be a few yeshiva guys having a Buffalo Wings contest. Dougie’s Brooklyn has all your favorites, such as Fire Poppers, Unbelievable Onion, Dougie’s Steak & Chicken Basket and Double Dougie’s Burger. And for all the vegetarians and health conscious people, they also have sushi from an authentic sushi bar, a variety of salads and a great array of wraps. The restaurant can even prepare an Atkins-friendly carb-free bbq sauce or salad dressing.

Dougie’s Brooklyn also has a private back room that is perfect for your sheva brachot or party needs, seating up to 100 people. They are well known for their on-premises and off-premises catering (they will even bring a sushi bar), and have a specific catering menu that will make your next event extremely easy to plan and enjoy.
