King David Deli was established in the fall of 1984 to meet the growing needs and desires of the Five Towns and Far Rockaway communities. At that time, any person who wanted
a good Pastrami or Corned Beef sandwich, would have to drive to the Lower East Side of Manhattan, to Shmulka Bernstein’s. King David Deli, a modern and inviting restaurant, met that
need, whether it was take home food, catering, deli platters, or accommodating over 100 guests in its dining room. Today, King David Deli services not only the Five Towns and Far Rockaway, but Nassau & Suffolk Counties as well as Brooklyn and Queens. With new owners Eli Klinkowitz and Mark Rubin on board, they have taken the tradition of King David to the next level.

The establishment serves a varied menu including Deli, American, Italian, and believe it or not, an extensive Tex Mex menu. They also have many items for the health conscious, that
is not only good for you, but taste great. It is important to point out that they produce their own corned beef, cure the meats on premises and all their dishes are generous in size. Favorites to
start with are their famous hush puppies (invented by King David), delectable homemade Gefilte Fish and sweet Stuffed Cabbage with raisins, which bursts with all kinds of terrific flavors. Their entrees are just as enticing- the Chicken and Steak Fajitas are masterfully grilled to perfection and are complemented with the warm wraps and rice. Equally outstanding is the Sliced Steak Sandwich and the bountiful King David Big Mouth.
