Skewers Steakhouse is not your typical suburban steakhouse. Beige and white tablecloths, mirrored walls, plush carpeting and classical background music, is what sets this restaurant apart. And the same can be said of their food. Since you can find skewers all over the world, owner Ellie Shalomov felt it was an appropriate name for the restaurant, so as to reflect its international theme and flavor. Ellie grew up fascinated by food shows and loving food and has taken that passion and turned it into a fine, sophisticated establishment.
The restaurant is an upscale and warm place to enjoy a sensible and affordable meal. Its elegant and romantic setting is perfect for dates and the classy decor and overall style is ideal for professional lunches and business meetings. Led by head waiter, Marco, the staff is always professional and courteous.
Their cuisine offers a large variety of salads as well as cold and hot appetizers. The Keys of Asia Salad with an outstanding sauce, which Ellie has created himself, is a fantastic appetizer or dinner alternative. Everyone who comes in and tries their tender and flavorful Baby Lamb Chops, is guaranteed to leave with glowing compliments. While the Rib Steak arrives at your table sizzling, the fish arrives daily so you are assured you’re getting the freshest seafood available- the Chilean Sea Bass is highly advised. All their skewers are grilled to perfection, especially the Tandoori Chicken which goes great with a side of herbed or basmati rice. The restaurant also has a number of pasta choices and a children’s menu to suit any kids need. To round out your meal on a sweet note, be sure to try their caramel cake or hot apple crumble.
