Feeding off the popularity and success of Mabat in Brooklyn, Mabat Teaneck has gained a fabulous reputation of its own for the last 10 years. A fun and family oriented restaurant, Mabat, located on the busy street of Cedar Lane, is the only steakhouse in Teaneck. It is, therefore, not a surprise that they are the natural choice of anyone looking for a craving of genuine Middle Eastern cuisine.
As in Brooklyn, Mabat Teaneck is owned by Yoram and Jai B. Levy. The same philosophy they have implemented there of great food and customer service, is found here. The wait staff are always friendly, courteous and have a wonderful rapport with their customers. You could tell that the efficient waiters and waitresses enjoy what they are doing. They are always asking, “are you happy? Do you need anything else?” You truly are made to feel important.
Bright during the day and softly lit at night, Mabat offers over 17 delectable Mediterranean salads each day with the best meats you can find. It may even tempt a vegetarian to think twice. Everything is made on the grill and can be cooked to your taste and specifications. Be sure to try their Yemenite Soup with any of their delicious appetizers. The Shish Kabobs, Mix Grill and Boneless Steaks are fan favorites with all entrees served with grilled onions. While a restaurant can have the same ingredients, the taste of Mabat’s cooking is undeniably fantastic.
Sundays and early evenings, the restaurant is packed with families and kids (a children’s menu is available), with the late nights taken over by friends and couples. For your conveinence, there is plenty of parking available in a lot next to the restaurant. |
