To prevent traveling patrons from mistakenly believing that restaurants in Indiana, Nevada and Pennsylvania which bear the Bertolini’s name and logo were kosher, the Brooklyn Bertolini’s, which has been kosher and Jewish owned since its establishment has changed its name to Burtolucci’s. Longtime patrons will be pleased to learn that the restaurant’s delicious food and fine service will continue under the same management and ownership of Sholom Witriol.
The intimate and romantic decor consists of understated lit lamps, burgundy tablecloths, champagne napkins, and sparkling lights placed within a beautiful recreation of the Manhattan skyline in a glass mirror behind the bar. Patrons are greeted by the courteous and tuxedo-clad staff. The lovely restaurant is devoted to all things Italian. The food, design and soft background music from opera legends, Boccelli and Pavarotti, attract a sophisticated clientele.
This fall, the restaurant is adding some new and exciting dishes to the dinner menu and an expanded lunchtime menu which offers popular specials and lighter fare. For starters, try the minestrone soup, a tasty blend of seasonal vegetables with a vigorous tomato intonation or the classic French onion soup crowned with bread and melted cheese. The portobello mushroom with melted mozzarella luxuriating on top and the Caprese, robust slices of mozzarella, fresh “beefsteak” tomatoes and roasted red peppers, are just a couple of creative appetizers you can savor. Everything is made with the finest and most expensive ingredients, using only the best olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
The Penne a la Vodka deftly sauteed in a cream, tomato and vodka rhapsody is a must-have entree along with any of their fish items. Be sure to save room for their homemade desserts. Try both the revered tiramisu cake as well as the hot chocolate souffle, served with premium vanilla ice cream and raspberry sherbet. With their private and intimate atmosphere, they are perfect for in-house business conferences, with audio and visual needs. The restaurant also specializes in office parties and Sheva Brachot. |
