Over the past 21 years, Mr. Broadway has become a landmark and safe haven for kosher food lovers of New York City and around the world. As history has proven, with a diverse menu, Mr. Broadway may be one of the most reliable kosher restaurants. Mr. Broadway is located in the heart of the Garment Center just a few blocks from Macy's, Madison Square Garden, the Javits Center, the Fur and Diamond Districts and the Broadway Theaters. Their customers, who remained loyal to the previous resident, the famous R. Gross Dairy Restaurant, are now enjoying a variety of fantastic American delicatessen, grilled Mediterranean Specialties and Chinese cuisine. They are also proud to present a sushi menu with the freshest fish available.
Start off with their classic Gefilte Fish, which is grounded on premises, so you know it’s as fresh as can be. Another recommended dish is the Sauteed Sliced Steak accompanied by soft mashed potatoes in a delicious gravy. Their homemade onion rings are out-of-this world while the tender Shwarma and the reasonably priced Jumbo Pastrami Burger Supreme are other must-try house specialties. All their meats, including their mixed grill special, are prepared over a charcoal grill.
After a major renovation, Mr. Broadway boasts a new state-of-the-art kitchen facility and a huge private dining room, making them a frequent spot for both corporate functions and family celebrations. In addition, Mr Broadway offers catering for all occasions off premises. They also have one of the largest delivery businesses in size and popularity, delivering as far out as the Bronx, Long Island City and Jersey City.
