Rimonim, meaning pomegranates in Hebrew, opened in December of 2007 and they are already making quite an impression on their customers. The dimly lit restaurant with a capacity of 80 people, offers a unique blend of European and Middle Eastern cuisine that will tickle your taste buds and leave you craving for more.

That is largely due to owner Roee Ben-Shimol and the Executive Chef, Aviv Mosovich. Aviv studied at Ecole Lenotre in France and the world famous Le Cordon Bleu in Switzerland. Aviv is also no stranger to Brooklyn restaurants, working with many of them as an advisor, he understands the sight and palate of the consumer. He creates truly exquisite dishes (see inside cover flap). But Roee will be the first to tell you that presentation alone won’t satisfy the customer. It’s about giving his guests the most luxurious dining experience possible. Roee makes sure that his customers will be spoiled with excellent service, a soothing ambiance and fine dining from the moment they step through the doors.

To start the meal, recommended is the Duck Salad, cubes of roasted duck with Asian dressing as well as the South American Carnival for two consisting of guacamole dip, aroma tomato salad, garden salad with vinaigrette dressing, beef empanadas and chicken skewers marinated in chimichurri sauce. For the entrees, make sure you try the Lamb osso-bucco and the baby lamb chops. The Prime Yoshida is also fantastic. For a heavenly dessert, get the chocolate soup of cream puffs stuffed with different flavors of ice cream, served over a hot chocolate soup.

If you're looking for the elegance and class of a Manhattan restaurant in your area, Rimonim will exceed all your expectations.
