Sam’s Deli & Grill is the only restaurant in Miami Beach serving New York style deli cuisine. The restaurant opened in May 2005, and was named after the original owner’s father. This past year the restaurant was taken over by Sara Ramo and family, led by head manager, Ziva.

The Ramo family has over 35 years experience in the food and restaurant business and they love it and it definitely shows. They do whatever they can to satisfy their customers wether it’s the tastiest food, huge portions or efficient service. The restaurant, with high ceilings and decorated with picture of early Miami, attracts everyone who is looking for that quintessential NY deli, whether they used to live in New York, currently reside in the Big Apple or wished they had this kind of deli in their town. Tourists from all over America, and from Canada to Europe stop by Sam’s Deli when visiting Miami.

From chicken poppers, to stuffed cabbage to chicken Soup, one can start the meal off right. They’re well known for their hot, cold and deli sandwiches that can either be served on rye bread, French baguette, challah, multi grain, kaiser, pita, bagel or wrap. Recommended sandwiches include the Steak Sandwich, Meat Loaf or “make-your-own-combo, Triple Decker deli sandwich. Of course, their 1/2 pound homemade delicious beef burgers are a must. With nine different selections, once can easily eat here for days. For entrees, a variety of fantastic fish and chicken dishes are offered as well as terrific beef items, like their Brisket Platter, Rib Eye Steak and BBQ Beef Ribs. They have recently added Israeli items to the menu where one can look forward to falafel, baby chicken and Mediterranean kebab. And make sure you have room for their homemade mousse, pies and cakes.

The restaurant also specializes in party catering of all kinds and has menus for Shabbos takeout, kiddush at shuls and holiday meals. A variety of very reasonably priced lunch specials are offered from 11:00am to 5:00pm.
