What started out 10 years ago as the first kosher breakfast cafe in the area, Pico Cafe has established itself as a restaurant that provides everything you want from a cafe- good food at reasonable prices with efficient service in an intimate and cozy setting. From seven in the morning to midnight, Pico Cafe is open to serve you. Tal, the owner of Pico Cafe takes pride in his service and in always accommodating the customer. He will never compromise on the quality of the food and has created a large menu with the freshest ingredients, covering every desire.
As mentioned they are open bright and early for your convenience. What better way to start off the day than a gourmet omelette with feta cheese, grilled mushrooms and tomato basil, all served with a bagel, green salad, butter and jam. They have plenty of side orders like hash browns, Israeli salad and lox. Stuffed crepes is another favorite amongst their loyal clientele with the Sweet and Fruity Crepe filled with ricotta, strawberries and banana a must.
They also offer numerous subs, soups and salads throughout the day making sure you are well fed. There is nothing you can’t find on their menu. You can have a homemade stuffed calzone with broccoli, cauliflower and cheddar cheese or a homemade thin crust Veggie Pesto Pizza with mushrooms, sundried tomatoes, red onions and hearts of palm. Getting hungry? Good. We haven’t even gotten to their Fettuccini and Ravioli dishes not to mention all their house specialties like Mallawah, fried Yemenite dough, Quesadillas and Burritoes. Of course, fish is on their menu and can be prepared in many sauces, such as cream sauce, teriyaki ginger sauce and mushroom sauce. If you’re there at night and plenty of customers start and end their night at Pico Cafe, they have several Night Specials, consisting of Nachos, Tostadas and Fried Taquitos. A wide variety of specialty coffees and smoothies as well as homemade desserts are always a great way to complete the meal - but that’s if you’re still hungry.
The cafe has a private patio for parties in the back as well as seating in the front if you would like to sit outside. The restaurant has been frequented by famous rabbonim and celebrities, so it’s about time you stopped by. |
