Located just a few block south of the 101, Ventura Freeway, Temptation Prime Bar & Grill is a fine dining establishment serving a fusion of ethnic food from America to Asia. Owner Moshe Gideon, who was born in Iran, points out that the verse “temptation to eat” can be found in the book of Bereshit and was the inspiration for the name of the restaurant, which began in 2003.

A full wine bar with 32 kinds of selections is showcased you first come in. The restaurant has a beautiful dining room and a comfortable outside area for those beautiful sunny California days. The restaurants offers a very reasonable full course lunch menu from 11:30am - 3:30pm, which includes appetizer of the day, a crisp garden salad and your choice of lunch entrees with a beverage. Some of the lunch entrees include Brochette of Chicken, Rib Eye Sandwich, Grilled Salmon and Bolognese Linguini. Dinner entrees are also available during lunch.

The fusion of American, Persian and Middle Eastern items for Temptations Prime Bar & Grill is on display for dinner starting with the appetizers ranging from Spicy Chicken Wings to Persian Eggplant to Humus. For entrees, they have all your favorite grilled items such as Rib Eye Steak, BBQ Ribs and Lamb Chops along with Persian Skirt Steak and Chicken Skirt Steak. Fish and pasta selections are offered as well.

For Shabbat, the restaurant has special a menu, which includes Oven Roasted Stuffed Cornish with rice, raisins, different berries and exotic herbs. Braised Beef and Lamb Shanks, Oven Roasted Salmon and Cholent, the traditional Eastern European beef stew is also available for Shabbat. Orders need to be placed by Thursday afternoon at 3pm for Friday pickup or delivery. The restaurant also offers full service catering in your home or banquet facilities.
