T Fusion Steakhouse is not like Manhattan... it is Manhattan. Brooklyn is saturated with kosher restaurants, yet, not many bring the class combined with the taste, quite like this steakhouse. T Fusion is owned by the same people who have brought you the popular Tea for Two restaurants. The definition meaning of “Fusion” is “a style that combines ingredients and techniques from very diffident cultures or countries.” This is the essence of Fusion’s eclectic seasonal menu and multi-cultural food.
T Fusion Steakhouse opened in the Summer of 2007 and is located in the ever growing community of Marine Park. Just 5 to 10 minutes from Flatbush, the elegant restaurant proves that kosher food can excel both in taste and diversity and be on par with any great non-kosher cosmopolitan restaurant. The two-story restaurant is highlighted by a beautiful first-floor chandelier cascading down on crisp white tablecloths often topped by lit candles and fresh flowers. The second floor, used both for in-house dining and private parties, is more bistro-like with exposed brick and red color tones. A wide screen TV on the wall and movable wood dividers, makes the place ideal for business meetings and conferences.
The restaurant and menu are the creations of owner Alan Bresler, a self taught chef with 8 years of hand-on-training. He is joined in the kitchen by three top chefs in the kosher field, Michael Schultes, from Vienna Austria and the Culinary School of Vienna; Avi Shokron from Israel and the Royal Beach Hotel in Eilat; and Jack Cohen, a graduate of the French Culinary Institute of New York. The need for all these acclaimed chefs is because the restaurant is often packed with customers enjoying the house specialities of the 21+ day aged Delmonico, marinated in their smokehouse seasoning, or the 45+ day aged NY strip steak. For a restaurant to be even considered great, you need to have a fantastic wine selection, and in this case, they do. And with the assistance of the restaurant’s sommelier, you will be well taken care of. For dessert, the hot chocolate souffle or the chocolate fondu is highly recommended.
