Miami Grill is a long time neighborhood favorite,
offering a casual atmosphere that is perfect for dining with friends, co-workers and family members. As Amy Pataki writes in Dining Out Magazine, “Miami Grill couldn’t be farther from the Florida dining scene. There are no leathery tans, Cadillacs in the parking lot or early bird specials. But in fact, at this Thornhill restaurant, people are still lining up to eat dinner.”

Much of that can be attributed to owner and restaurateur Shlomo Esses, who owns four other kosher restaurants in the Toronto area (see opposite page). Esses says, “our standards are very high and our service equals the quality of our food.” Their creative menu features a wide array of great selections, always made from the highest quality ingredients and nothing but the finest meats in the kosher market. You'll start your meal with their outstanding house salads and dips and continue with their great grill dishes.

Pataki of Dining Out, writes: “There’s every kind of dish here, from Szechuan chicken to Matzo ball soup. Portions are huge, ingredients are fresh and the servers are helpful.” Indeed, throughout the meal you will be taken care of, by not only skillful waitresses, but also by friendly and warm people whose greatest wish is your enjoyment. Recommended items include BBQ beef Ribs, Mongolian stir-fry, grill-stripped pastrami slices, Jerusalem Mix and their famous Teriyaki Chicken Stir Fry. For dessert enjoy a delicious non-dairy ice cream that will melt in your mouth. As you can see, this is nothing if not a family restaurant.

With more praise from critics, the Toronto Star puts it best, “It is always a good time for Miami Grill.”
