Kavanna is a beautiful “palace-like” restaurant just a few blocks form the Hendon Tube Station. You will dine in comfort and luxury all along tasting authentic Indian cuisine. For starters, try the Chicken or Lamb Tikka, which is marinated and grilled in a clay oven. For entrees, they have a number of tandoori delicacies and Balti and Biriyani dishes, each with its own special spices and herbs . The chef recommends Murgh Kallia, chicken cooked with fried onions, fresh mint, coriander, spices and garlic. A Kavanna specialty is Shakora Lamb, cooked in a spicy sauce with Bengal citrus fruits giving it a tangy flavour. Mmm. |
