Talia's Steakhouse & Bar is a warm and romantic restaurant serving traditional American cuisine. The walls are decorated by a revolving gallery of artwork by some of New York’s best artists and photographers. The restaurant is usually packed and bustling with dates and a hip, trendy crowd. Their creative and delectable menu received a very good “20” ranking by Zagat, which includes the finest dry-aged steaks, veal chops, lamb chops, fish, duck, chicken, sweetbreads, salads, pasta, vegetarian dishes and rich desserts. Recommended dishes include the Thai Beef Salad that is listed as an appetizer but it’s so good and bountiful that it can be mistaken
for a main and the Hickory Grilled Salmon Salad. For entrees, the Butcher’s Cut “Supreme” Ribeye Steak is thick and spectacular. And for dessert, you better get two hot chocolate souffles because you’ll be fighting with your partner over just one. Only the best quality and most expensive ingredients are used, specially prepared by their chef.
Talia’s Steakhouse has a fully stocked open bar where you are able to eat, drink, watch a sports game on their flat screen Sony Plasma HDTV. The bar is also a great place to meet, mix and mingle with other singles and friends. Be sure to visit them on Saturday night (the restaurant is turned into a loungehouse) and Monday night where you can enjoy live Jazz & Blues. Keep in mind that Friday night dinners may be reserved for prepaid special events including group dinners and guests lectures. When the weather is nice, you can dine at their outdoor sidewalk cafe. The restaurant also features an impressive selection of bottles and draft beers and a superb international wine list.
Talia’s Steakhouse has always created much buzz on the internet’s message board, but especially recent because of two new additions. The first is Talia’s to Go, a separate area in the restaurant for those without much time to pick up and go; and the second being their one of a kind “cheese” burger - which to many of their non-kosher diners have pointed out “really tastes like the real thing.” Owner Ephraim Nagar, a successful businessman who has developed other restaurants, opened up the steakhouse in memory of his daughter Talia. Ephraim knew that she would love a place where people could enjoy, be happy and have fun. She would surely be proud. |
