With a contemporary decor and terra cotta color scheme, The Orchid is located in the quaint town of Metuchen, right in the heart of central New Jersey. In fact, the restaurant is a block off Route 27 (Middlesex Avenue) and just minutes off Exit 10 of I-95.

Owner Dalia Barness has been giving the restaurant her own personal touch since August, 2000. When picking the name, she wanted to have something that would reflect the uniqueness of the restaurant. Since she loves flowers, she came up with the The Orchid. Dalia enjoys talking and listening to her customers, always aiming to please. The environment is friendly and in the summer months, patrons can sit outside.

With their comprehensive lunch and dinner menu, you will discover a delicious combination of authentic Middle Eastern dishes, a wide array of vegetarian choices, a full line of deli products and an American styled kosher cuisine. Their varied menu is also apparent appetizers and side dishes. One can choose from Kishka and Kibbe to Basmati Rice and Kasha Varnishkas.
