One block off from Lincoln Road, Tea for Two South is a modern bistro with a retro atmosphere in the trendy area of South Beach, Florida. Open for almost four years, the restaurant is decorated with Italian paintings on cream color walls and candles on the tables. They have a delightful menu which transcends expectations of traditional Italian cuisine and sushi. Service here is personal and attentive, but never overbearing.
A couple of the inventive appetizers to choose from are gravalax and mozzarella fresca. In addition, fried zucchini sticks and fried mozzarella sticks, both served with marinara sauce, are among the classic appetizers. Served with a salad on the side, try any of their wraps and if you are in the mood for pizza, they have several gourmet 10” inch personal pies.
Their reasonably priced menu continues with delicious pasta dishes, such as Fettuccini Alfredo and and Portabella Mushroom Ravioli among the favorites. All fish entrees are served with two side dishes with recommendations consisting of Red Snapper Fradiolovo and Tuna Roast. The restaurant also offers a number of Mexican dishes including Cheese Quesadilla and Vegetable Quesadilla, both served with salsa, sour cream and guacamole on the side.
Tea for Two South has an extensive sushi menu to
satisfy everyone. If you are from Brooklyn and want a little remembrance from home, be sure to try their Kings Highway Roll of imitation crab, salmon, white tuna, avocado, topped with coconut, walnuts, sonali, soybean and sonali sauces. If you’re looking to experience Southern Florida at its best, they have a wonderful South Beach Roll that consists of imitation crab, cream cheese, avocado, topped with imitation shrimp tempura and Japanese mayo, chili and mock eel sauces. |
