Grand Bamboo is located in the heart of Monsey as well as in the heart of many local patrons. Owner S. Levy, who took over the restaurant in the early part of 2006, has been working overtime making sure his guests get the best of authentic Chinese fare along with several grilled and Middle Eastern specialties. With Asian kites along the walls and hanging from the ceiling, the restaurant is beautifully decorated with a casual yet classy style.
With well over 100 Chinese dishes to choose from, the menu is large with many specials. The steamed or pan-fried wantons and dumplings will assure you of a terrific start. For a Moroccan taste, be sure to try their beef stuffed Moroccan Cigars or Moroccan pastels.
For entrees on the Chinese side, the Mongolian Beef is a dish that has made Grand Bamboo famous. The sliced tender beef is delicately sauteed with green onions in their chef’s special secret sauce. The Mongolian Chicken will also allow you to get that amazing flavor. Grand Bamboo is also the place to go in Monsey for all your favorite grilled items such as Kufta Kabobs, Lamb Chops and Burgers. They have a number of vegetarian dishes and a large kids menu. For a refreshing end to the meal, they have an out-of-this world Runny Chocolate Chip and a non-dairy milk shake.
Reasonable combination platters are also offered. For your convenience they have a very advanced online ordering and payment website, where you can have all your dishes picked up faster or delivered to your home or office. Business and school accounts are more than welcomed as is on and off-premise catering - the restaurant can hold up to 100 people. |
