Yanky Grunzweig and Tuly Buchinger always wanted to have their own restaurant. But first they had to make sure that it would be the right restaurant, a place that people would enjoy and have fun. In the early part of 2006, everything came together. When they decided to open up Kosher Castle, Yanky and Tuly understood that the neighborhood of Monsey, which is populated with large families, needed a family-oriented, no-frills, reasonably priced establishment. With fast service, a clean environment and terrific food, they have fulfilled that need with area residents and businesses flocking every day.
Kosher Castle is conveniently located on Route 59 in a large shopping mall where parking is never a problem. The casual restaurant is spacious and the ideal locale for families to bring their kids. Yet because of their large, varied and most of all tasty menu, couples and singles have been frequenting as well. Whether it's savory Chinese (they do not use MSG), their famous deli or an entree from their charbroil grill, with over one hundred menu items there's something for everyone. The food is fresh and flavorful. Yanky is highly experienced in the kosher restaurant industry, so he knows what it takes to run a restaurant and what it means to make the customer happy.
