After decade of serving the Queens Jewish community with Annie Chan’s Kitchen and with the encouragement of existing customers, James and Annie Chan decided to open Annie Chan’s Restaurant in the Fall of 2002. While patrons loved the food at Annie Chan’s Kitchen, which is still located at the same spot on Main Street, they wanted to be able to enjoy Annie’s cooking and creativity in a more relaxed atmosphere. This feeling is achieved with bright chandeliers, large-sized mirrors, white linens and an overall peaceful atmosphere.

Located just minutes off Main Street, Annie is very passionate about her restaurant. After years of working in the restaurant business, she takes pride in the fact that her service is second to none and that she will do her best to meet everyone’s needs. “The customer comes first,” is not just a phrase for her - it’s a way of life. She says, “if they’re happy, they’ll come back.” And they sure do.

The restaurant serves all the Chinese favorites, starting with their Flaming Pu-Pu platter, an assortment of appetizers. The Golden’s Birds Nest is tender and highly recommended as is the Tsing Tao Steak, a delicious crispy dish. And if you enjoy duck, be sure to order their Boneless Crispy Duck. The rich and tasty flavor of all of their dishes is due to the absolute freshness of all their ingredients. And the same goes for their sushi - wonderfully crafted works of art. Sake and a full assortment of fine wines from California, France and Italy are offered.

Another impressive fact that you will find are their reasonable prices- special combination dinners range at around $18. And you can’t do much better than their lunch special of soup and main course for under nine dollars. Their catering menu is also fairly priced, so for your next affair be sure to call Annie Chan’s.
