With high ceilings, a large skylight and soft, ocean color tones, Pescado is a spacious and comfortable restaurant. With its grand opening in March 2005, this charming establishment certainly was a welcome addition to the Five Towns area. In fact, they are one of a few fine-dining dairy establishments in the vicinity. As the name suggests, Pescado offers high quality seafood dishes.
Their special menu is the creation of their master chef, Eddy Sanchez. Usually based on the market and season, much thought in presentation and taste has been given to the menu selections. Every morning fresh fish arrives along with all natural ingredients.
Everything is made from scratch, such as the pasta, bread and cakes. To begin the meal, one should partake in their terrific soups, either the French Onion or Cream of Mushrooms. For appetizers, the Bruschetta, crusty bread topped with diced vegetables and spices is both delightful and refreshing. With over a dozen fish choices, the Chilean Sea Bass and Seared Tuna Steak are highly recommended. New items to the menu include the Lemon Sole Franchese, Stuffed Red Snapper filet and the crispy Tilapia Marsala. The Spaghetti Bolognaise is another popular choice and keep in mind that whole wheat pasta is available upon request. A special lunch menu is also offered with omelettes, frittatas, paninis and wraps.
With a combination of fabulous soups, appetizers, salads and assorted pizzas, not to mention all the homemade desserts, Pescado is too good not to come back to time and time again. As their motto goes, “eat healthy, live longer.” To enhance your dining pleasure, the restaurant now offers beer and wine. |
