This is my absolutely favorite restaurant in Bklyn. Food is delicious - full of flavor, best bread around, nice ambiance & service, decent prices. Decor is nicer than depicted on website, they must've redone the place.

Eilat Cafe
Submitted by: joneric on Oct 6th 2008
I'm a regular restaurant eater; however, lately, I've been drawn to the captivating atmosphere that I experience at Eilat Cafe. They have an variety of foods, ranging from sushi and seabass, to pizza and pasta, all of which are delectable and unique. When the food comes to the table, I am caught off guard by the wonderful presentation of each dish delivered, not to mention the attentive servers that are ready to cater to your every need. Eilat Cafe is definitely a place that I will call home when I think about going out to eat.

Morty's Steakhouse
Submitted by: Todd on Oct 1st 2008
Went there a few weeks ago while visiting Montreal. The restaurant appeared to have opened recently as there was a banner covering the previous sign. Very good food and highly recommended. Having said that I hope there are a few kinks that get worked out. 1. We had made reservations. When we showed up they had seated a party of 9 who had reservations but for the next day. We were seated outside (no big deal). 2. When one of our party asked for a certain salad we were told they were out of Romaine lettuce! 3. When we asked for some red wine we were told they only had white as they'd run out of the red. I thought the latter two things might have gotten us an offer of complimentary soft drinks or dessert or coffee but none of that occurred. The waiter was pleasant enough but both he and the bus boy had too many tables. On the menu they list a filet mignon. As best I know this is a non-kosher steak (the eye of the t-bone). We shmoozed with the buthcher who supplies the meat for the restaurant (he couldn't get a table) and were told that while this is a fine cut of meat it's not filet mignon.

glatt koser restaurant for sheva brachos
Submitted by: Rochelle on Sep 8th 2008
Looking for glatt kosher restaurant in the Cedarhurst or Brooklyn area that is nice enough to make sheva brachos for about 30 people. Coming from Harrisburg, and don't really know the area. Would like good food without being the most expensive. Will check out recommendations. Musr be clean and nice. Price range would help too.

Hes married and i beleive he has children too. I was there this past thursday, I must say that the place is really remarkable. Judy, who does the desserts really knows her stuff. Thanks for the inches on my waist, but it was well worth it. Im not a sushi worshipper but my friend was raving about it. I wish them lots of luck, they brought alot of class to this nabe.

Avoid Mama Jacinta
Submitted by: Meir Liber on Sep 2nd 2008
This place must be avoided, quality and service extremelly inferior or nonexistent, owners abusive people.
Go one more block on Tucuman about 2675 (further west) and you see El Galope and excellent restaurant, kosher meat.
