Need a fancy kosher restaurant Submitted by: lisa on Jul 29th 2005 I am looking for a fancy kosher resturant in either new york city or queens, ny
Reply #1 submitted by: Elan Kornblum, Publisher on Jul 29th 2005 We'll start with Queens, because the city has plenty. If your looking for fancy dairy, Habustan, on Union Turnpike is your best choice. For meat, Skewers Steakhouse also on Union Turnpike, is a great restaurant with very nice ambiance. Colbeh on Main Street is also pretty fancy.
For Manhattan, there's enough restaurants to choose from, so if you're looking for "fancy"- here are some suggestions:
Colbeh on 39th & 6th, has a very upscale look, as does Abigael's, Broadway & 38th and Mike's Bistro on 72nd & Broadway. Not to mention Le Marais, Haikara Grill, Village Crown, ec. Like I said Manhattan has plenty of fancy restaurants. For dairy- Gusto Va Mare, La Creperie (new) and My Most Favorite Dessert are also excellent choices.
Good luck.

It has a gourgeous design as well.
