Bar Muda Restaurant, Brooklyn?

Does anyone have a review of the new Bar Muda restaurant, on Coney Island Avenue, and Avenue M, in Brooklyn?

As far as I know they haven't opened yet. They will be a dairy restaurant and the building looks impressive.

I may be wrong, but I drove by last week, and it looked like it was open.

Decided to check this place out for myself. Located on Coney Island Avenue, between Chesnut, and Avenue M, it opened about one week ago, with (as far as I'm aware) no fanfare, pre-publicity, or Grand Opening sign out front. Just noticed it in passing.
As a former poster said, Bar Muda has a dairy menu of fish, pasta, pizza, soups, salads, and desserts.
The restaurant and bar are very attractive. There weren't that many tables on the ground floor level where we were seated. There is an upper level which we were told would be for larger parties, but I don't think that this level was being used yet.
The hostess was pleasant, and accomodating. The sliced herbed bread, which was accompanied by both an olive oil mixture, and margarine (so you have a choice), was delicious, and fresh.
I ordered the grilled salmon filet, but was hesitant about the Lo-Mein which was listed as the side dish that accompanied it. It turned out that the salmon was excellent, and the Lo-Mein - not your typical Chinese version - was flavored very nicely with seasoning and herbs. Both were delicious. My husband enjoyed the 3 (or 4?) cheese individual pizza pie that he ordered. Acquaintances of ours, at a table of 4 nearby, said that they had each ordered something different, and were all pleased with their choices.
There was a nice selection of desserts on the menu, plus an assortment of cakes and pies.
( The cakes and pies were apparently not baked in house, as I've seen some of the same ones at other nice restaurants.) I ordered the tri-color mousse cake, which was rich and very good; and my husband had the pecan pie (which to our taste didn't have enough of the sweet gooey filling in relation to the abundance of nuts).
The service at our table was just so so, as our waiter was pleasant, but seemed very inexperienced. We observed other waiters at tables nearby, who seemed more capable.
I don't think it's fair to make a final judgment on the service yet, since the place is so new.

I would definitely recommend giving Bar Muda a try. It seems to have already been discovered, despite the lack of hype - as the place was full, and there were several groups waiting to be seated.
