Excellent food, but service left something to be desired. My husband went there for lunch during a slow time, and was kept waiting for everything, including the menu. We thought maybe it was an "off" day, but on our last night in town we went there for dinner. All went smoothly until it came time to pay the check. I wanted to use up some traveller's cheques and the waiter said it was ok. Only after I had filled them out (completly, as is the standard procedure for these), did others working there, including the manager, say that my writing out the place name invalidated them. (Fortunately, my bank at home had no problem cashing them, and was puzzled by why writing in the place name was so bad). No apologies or anything else were offered. Again, great food, but fortunately there are many other places to get kosher sushi.

Lately the service in Esti Hana hasn't been so good. It used to be my favorite place but now my dinners there aren't as pleasant becuase of their horrible service.
