Talia's Steakhouse Submitted by: Foodie on Jun 19th 2005 This was an awful experience, and repeated attempts to contact the restaurant, which heralds its wish for "feedback," availed nothing. Clearly no one cares. The service was abysmal, the salmon appetizer not prepared or presented as described, the fish entree pallid and tasteless, the fries quickly cold, and the martini, at a whopping $15, the most expensive of any comparable kosher restaurant. The steaks were fine, but little consolation. Take a pass on this place and go to Le Marais.
Reply #1 submitted by: Mordy on Aug 2nd 2005 I used to be a big fan of Talia's until the last time I went and had a very bad experience. I haven't stepped in there since.
Reply #2 submitted by: Galitte on Aug 9th 2005 We had a reservation and were kept waiting for 30 minutes. They handed us a basket of bread when we went to wash, and we waited quite some time for a glass of water. I won`t be going there even if you paid me to.
