After hearing some positive comments, we ventured to make dinner reservations with a friend who does not keep kosher. We had an extremely disappointing experience, from the agonizingly slow service--there was only one other table occupied--to the overcooked steak, which went back once adn returned only slightly improved, the fatty lamb, and the sparse sweetbreads. The black bass was excellent, the only positive note for the evening. It is my unhappy experience that kosher restaurants just don't care to get it right consistently because they have a captive audience.
