Amazing authentic flavors! The flavors of the Penne A La Toscana - Penne with shallots, red and yellow peppers, capers, black olives & cherry tomatoes mixed in light olive oil was such an experience that I really felt like I was in Italy--seriously. I'm not sure what type of herbs were used, but whatever they were... they transcended my expectations --and kosher too! This is the best kosher restaurant I've ever experienced.

SEA DOLPHIN: the new Manager of Sea Dolphin happens to be the nicest person ever to work there, he is an ultra orthodox jew from queens and is known throughout the area by the entire kehila. Food is served fresh daily from 12pm to 11pm and has never been complained about, hashgaha is VHQ ever since the restaurant was taken over by new management, never a problem with hechsher, which VHQ would testify to, this last comment by Pinny is completely false, most probably a jealous competetor, oh well, every business must expect that!

all i can say is A++, homestyle food, nice big portions, fresh and very tasty, i was pleasantly surprised to find such good food here in Queens, atmosphere was great, i definitely recommend it.
excellent family restuarant, worth the money.

The web site says that Caraville Glatt is under Kehilla Kashrus. However, an ad in the Torah Times says that it is under Rabbi Babad.

What is going on?

There is a take out store meat and pareve opened all 8 days of pesach called The Kosher Gourmet. It is located near Bathurst St. and Lawrence Avenue. 2 blocks south from this intersection on the east side. I don't think any of the 'restaurants' will be open over the holiday. I hope this helps!!

I think Keren Aniyem is a great organization and I will be there. Everyone in shul is talking about the event. I wish the event tremendous success.

the fact that people recognize what is happening to people in our community is beyond great. we are unforunately invokved in our own lives and tend to hush hush the poverty level of others. ill be there and support this charitable cause and hope that all that read this outcry will be there to open our pockets and heart to the needy. looking forward, moshe zev

WOW!!! It's really nice that a restaurant that just opened is taking upon itself to do Gimlas Chesed, before Pesach! I will definitely attend and show my support.

I personally know someone that's a recipient of Keren Aniyem and have seen the incredible work they do firsthand. I will be at the event with a check for $1,000 and I think others should do the same- especially right before Yom Tov.

I think it's a tremendous zchus and I applaud Keren Aniyem for doing such a great job. They're a solid group of individuals who dedicate insane amounts of time to help others. I wish I never have to be on the receiving end of their work.
I will be there.

Milk N' Honey (Tor.)
Submitted by: Krista on Mar 31st 2008
I recently hosted an event for chich Kosher fare was required. I called well in advance to order the food from Milk 'n Honey for the event. After a difficult time getting a hold of anyone, I finally was asked to send a fax with the details and was told someone would get back to me with a quote. Two days later I had to call to verify my fax was received, and was answered with, "I will check. If you don't hear back from me today then it means we did get it". Five days after that I had to call to follow up. I was told the quote was ready and was put on hold while the person was apparently obtaining it. Three minutes and some seconds later, he came back and told me he had "a funeral on the other line" and he would call me right back. I never heard from him. Thank goodness for the competition across the street, Dairy Treats, as with short notice they provided me with excellent service and excellent food and the event turned out to be a big success.
