Dairy King Submitted by: TRACY on Dec 4th 2007 I cannot express my thoughts about the deli king in Lake Sucess, I think that lady who works at the casher is rude and very arrogant. I have been going there since I have been a kid, and after being treated the way i was today I will never go in there again.
Reply #1 submitted by: Elan Kornblum, Publisher on Dec 4th 2007 Dairy King is not the Deli King.

But I've been talking to my web guy to see how to make it easier.

Cafe Venezia Submitted by: David Cohen on Dec 4th 2007 too expensive for a "cafe" in brooklyn
might as well go to a meat steakhouse
Reply #1 submitted by: David Bravo on Dec 10th 2007 Cafe Venezia's Food is to good for such a low price. i am gentile and they have the best pizza.
Reply #2 submitted by: DJS on Dec 11th 2007 You stated in your post that Cafe Venezia is too expensive for a "cafe" It is unfortunate that you are unable to tell the difference between an upscale, full service, authentic Italian restaurant and a local cafe. The prices are similiar to the other local Italian restaurants and the food is so much better @ Cafe Venezia.

Bari Fish Restaurant Submitted by: Steven Bernstein on Dec 2nd 2007 The restaurant is excellent. Service was vey good. To post a menu without prices on the website is false chic and poor marketing. Consumers are entitled to ask and know the prices.
Reply #1 submitted by: Elan Kornblum, Publisher on Dec 2nd 2007 Speak to the restaurant.
Reply #2 submitted by: Jim on Dec 3rd 2007 Elan, Didn't you always used to fo\rward the messages for us? How come you won't do it anymore?
Reply #3 submitted by: Elan Kornblum, Publisher on Dec 3rd 2007 As always, I will let the restaurant know, but if it comes from a customer it has much more of an impact.

1868 Restaurant & Bar Submitted by: Steven Goldman on Nov 29th 2007 We had a superb meal at 1868, but your posted review is incorrect about the tasting menu, which we ordered. It does NOT include wine and is 7 courses, not 9! That said, the food and the presentation were excellent, and we were allowed to split our orders, so that not everyone at the table had to order the tasting menu in order for some to do so. The wine list is first-rate, but even by the glass very expensive and the goblet was only filled to one third, at most. Service, too, was excellent.
Reply #1 submitted by: Avi on Nov 30th 2007 easily, one of the best kosher restaurants in the world -- you can ask for a 9-course menu (it's a the chef's discretion), and you can ask for wine-pairings. it's just more expensive.

According to restaurant, KYO is still glatt kosher Submitted by: Elan Kornblum, Publisher on Nov 25th 2007 According to a posting on KYO's door last night, there is a horrible rumor going around that KYO is no longer under rabbinical supervision and that it was spread but a disgruntled fired employee.
Rav Yaacov Shlomo Gissinger, who has always been the superving rabbi for the restaurant, states in published reports that KYO is STILL under his supervision.
Reply #1 submitted by: mm on Nov 25th 2007 I know for a fact that the restaurant is still under the strict supervision of Rav Gissinger and there was NO lapse in the Hecsher.
Nargila Grill Submitted by: david meir-levi on Nov 25th 2007 you should enable reservations on line at your website.
Reply #1 submitted by: Elan Kornblum, Publisher on Nov 25th 2007 That is a good idea and something that we have thought about for a long time but it's a very difficult process, especially with many of the restaurants not having the technology to accomodate and confirm it. But stay tuned.
