Grill Time North Miami Submitted by: Bunny Schreiber on Jul 18th 2008 This was always my favorite restaurant -- until last week.
Ordered the Rib Eye as I always do and it was 1/2-3/4 fat. When I complained I was told that it was the best they could get because of the Rubashkin problem. They just couldn't get better meat What a terrible excuse. As a GOOD restaurant, they should have stopped serving steaks altogether, with a note on the menu saying: "Sorry to disappoing you but we will not be serving this quality of meat."
I would have felt much better and would have saved $40. Also, they would not have lost a customer.

Tierra Sur at Herzog Winery Submitted by: Greg Ross on Jul 11th 2008 We had dinner on Wednesday evening. We were a four top and had a very good meal. The service was good. The table was set well, and the bread was fresh. Three suggestions: 1) Get better Extra Virgin Olive Oil (DOP from Italy) so that you do not have to hide the quality with garlic. 2) Get a better wine list with wines from other countries, perhaps the ones that you sell in the tasting room 3) When a guest requests a change (subtraction or addition) to an entree such as our group did, make sure that the open kitchen does not make comments, or fun of special requests. When your guests are paying this much money for their entrees, and there is an open kitchen, and our table was adjacent to the kitchen, these type of comments to do not leave a good impression. Our bill came to $300.00 for 4 people (with a $50.00 tip) and to have the kitchen openly complain that the there was a request for no mushrooms with the chicken, was offensive.

Club Cafe Submitted by: Customer on Jul 9th 2008 The food is excellent and the prices are reasonable. The big problem is that there is no bathroom in the restaurant. There is one on another floor in the building, but you can spend 15 minutes waiting for the elevator in that building. I highly recommend their delivery.

BBQ Submitted by: Eddie Schweky on Jul 1st 2008 On the Food Network, there is a show called BBQ University with Mr. Steve Raiclan.
He teaches a seminar of 3-4 days on all sorts of BBQ techniques.
Is there any such program that is Kosher?
Or do you know of a kosher BBQ chef that gives or can give lessons? I am interested in learning BBQ techniques as I wish to enter a contest for it.
Thanks for your help. Any responses will be appreciated.
